Perfect is the Enemy of the Good

I do not intend to be such an infrequent blogger.  I even have things to talk about. For example, there has been a cat living in my vent for 3 months.  That is totally blog worthy.  So why haven’t I told you about it?  Because in my head it’s a huge long post with details about the whole situation and how it happened, and cute videos (Thanks PetCube!).  I do not really have time to write that post, so instead I write nothing.

So I’m going to try something a little different.  My friend and Co-worker, Andrea Badgley wrote (in 2015) about a way to break out of the “perfect or it’s crap” mindset called Publish in 10 Minutes Per Day.  It’s taken me 2 years to take her up on it, but better late than never.

I’ll tell you more about the cat tomorrow.  In the meantime, I visited one of Ohio’s State Parks over the weekend:  Deer Creek State Park.  It was fun.  It’s the off season so it wasn’t busy, and it was less than an hour’s drive.  Highly recommended for a weekend away.  I even took a photo of the lake.

See you tomorrow for more not very good, but way more frequent thoughts about my life!
